The other week I recieved a couple of kayaks, delivered by my friend John. The Rebel TOC I could keep for myself, the other one goes to my other friend and associate Stefan. I am aiming for touring with the TOC (Greenland-T, Ocean Cockpit). Being used to minimalistic gear anyway, there will be plenty of room for my stuff.

As all kayaks, I’m bouncing around in it and it needs outfitting. For rolling, it’s not as low in the back as my SOF kayaks so no-hands rolls are kind of difficult. Forward finishing rolls however, are super easy. It seems very predictable regarding stability and turning, which is a good thing.
This will be my T(o)uring machine so advanced rolling wasn’t a demand anyway, prolonged paddle tours was. Or is. There will be plenty of rough weather in th Autumn. I will be back with a proper review and how much I can stuff in it at a later date. For the nearest future, actually next weekend, I’m gonna use it at Tjärö kayak festival in southern Sweden for a rolling demo.
