Description
Being part of the rolling community is not only an achievment in your kayaking career, but the next best way to actually rescue yourself in big and/or cold conditions. What is The Best Way? Well, to not capsize in those conditions att all, or if the wind and waves are hard, be able to choose to not be there in the first place. If you’re not kayak-surfing of course 🙂
To roll is much easier to learn than to assess the weather or conditions.
So, enter some rolling class(es) and you will be better prepared for whatever nature throws at you!
We will start with basic stretching tips, continue on with the floating capsized basics and if you feel comfortable, we will go on to actual rolling practice. We increase the difficulty step by step. There is no “I wasn’t able” here. We separate it in so many steps that you will always come home the wiser.
It is preferrable if you have your own mask or noseclip/goggles combo for the right fit, but just let us know and we will bring some extras. If the waters are cold, dress appropriately, if we’re indoors (during the winter), wear a base layer or light neoprene. A hood or headband of some kind is always recommended.
Minimum 2 hours, price is per hour. Max 4 participants. FIRST make an appointment, THEN pay here.
