A next-gen two component PU which applies thick, wet-on-wet and is incredibly durable has just hit the market in Scandinavia. It is just right for skinboats. More facts to be disclosed soon but you can pre-order now for shipment within 7 working days.
Order a minimum of 2l per SOF kayak. With thicker cloth, extra layers or big kayak, order some more. We have applied it on fully cured kayaks too, although we do not endorse it (yet). More endurance tests need to be made.
However, this goop works with PU and earth pigments. It is a self-levelling, fast curing, wet-on-wet, UV resistant next-generation, high viscosity but excellent fabric sealing Polyurethane that blew our minds right from the start. The practical pot-life is about 20 minutes (40 min workable and self levelling).
